Stripe has acquired the team behind Valora, a mobile-focused digital asset wallet, accelerating its push into blockchain-based financial infrastructure. Valora CEO Jackie Bona announced the move, framing it as an alignment with Stripe's mission to expand global financial access. The Valora app will revert to cLabs for ongoing development.

The acquisition highlights Stripe's growing focus on stablecoins and crypto infrastructure as tools for economic participation. Valora's expertise in mobile-first wallet design—particularly for underserved markets—will now be deployed across Stripe's payment ecosystem.
